| This
coffee is roasted to a milk chocolate brown. It is sweet and mild but
complex and intense. Nuance is what this coffee allows to come to the
fore, reflecting the terroir of its origin. Notes of honey, molassess
and stone fruit combine with a bright acidity in perfect balance. Heavy
body and a long smooth finish define this coffee. More like Mopsy than
Flopsy.
The coffee is
produced by the woman-run SOPPEXCCA Cooperative in Jinotega. Fatima
Ishmael is the cooperative's board president and a leading activist for
women's rights in Nicaraguea. The coffee is Fair Trade and Organic
Certified. The cooperative runs women's health clinics, schools and
maternity hospitals for rural women. Jinotega is in the heart of the
coffee growing region in the northeast.

| This
coffee from the mountains of the Matagalpa region of northwest
Nicaragua is roasted to a deep chocolate color, bringing out the nutty
flavor notes. Hints of roasted carrots and caramelized sugars abound.
It is a perfect companion for chocolate desserts and after dinner
sipping. More like Peter Rabbit than March Hare.
The coffee is
produced by the 86 members of the Solidaridad Cooperative in Aranjuez.
Thanksgiving Coffee Company has been working closely with these farmers
since 1996 and their coffee is considered among the best in Nicaragua.
This coffee is Fair Trade and Organic Certified. With the extra monies
it receives from the sales of its coffees to Thanksgiving, the
cooperative has built many schools for its youth, 100% of whom attend
school.

| Bella's
Decaffeinated Blend is light and dark roasted coffees, sassy and
full-bodied, from Oaxaca, Mexico. The coffee is decaffeinated using no
chemicals. Flavor notes of burnt sugars, molasses and honey are
balanced by the toasty notes of roasted cashew and hints of vanilla.
More like a Thumper than a Velveteen Rabbit.
